I work at the intersection of design, product development, and business strategy, bringing ideas to life and helping them succeed in the real world.
01 / About me

Nice to
meet you.
I'm an Indianapolis-based creative with a business-minded brain and a love of beautiful, functional things. I've spent over two decades working in consumer products, blending creativity with strategy and figuring out how to turn good ideas into great products.
Outside of the office, I'm happiest at home with my husband and our four-legged crew. I'm an animal lover, an amateur gardener, admirer of old houses, and fan of live music.
I grew up in a tiny Indiana town of just 156 people and was voted senior class clown, a distinction I still consider one of my greatest achievements. I appreciate a simple life, good humor, and am admittedly a little too particular about certain things.

“I'm equal parts creative and practical, curious by nature, and happiest around genuine people who don't take themselves too seriously.”

02 / Brand partnerships + licensing
Brand partnerships
+ licensing.
Building thoughtful partnerships that balance brand integrity with commercial opportunity. From identifying the right fit to negotiating agreements and bringing licensed products to market.
I’ve partnered with brands including Coca-Cola, NASCAR, Activision, GM, Hallmark, The Beatles, Penguin Random House, Sesame Street, and others, turning those relationships into real on-shelf product lines.
Because I see the whole picture, from the deal terms to the design to the numbers, partners have one person to call… and that’s me.

Direction
I believe creative leadership is about building the conditions for great work, not being the source of every idea. I try to be encouraging and supportive, and I give direction when a project needs it. I want designers to explore, try new things, and be confident in their own unique point of view.
I don’t need the idea to be mine. What I care about is that the work gets done on time, without errors, true to the brand, and that it’s something the whole team can point to with pride. When people help shape the work instead of just executing it, everything gets better.
I was raised by two teachers and coaches, and was reminded I’d never be the tallest or the fastest, but I could work the hardest. Now I coach a creative team the same way: clear the path, trust the players, and share the win.

Operations
We used to run creative approvals and processes on a larger-than-life printed checklist that was outdated the second it came off the printer (and prominently featured my terrible handwriting). I introduced Trello - free, dynamic, cloud based (you didn’t have to get up away from desk, interrupting productivity) and simple enough that people actually used it. Over ten years later it runs nearly every department, and we’ve upgraded to a paid subscription. :)
I also oversee custom and corporate product projects. Knowing our products, their specifications, and what they cost to produce gives me a full view of the process, from manufacturer quotes and customer pricing to design and proof approvals. I manage customer relationships and coordinate logistics, fulfillment, invoicing, and payment. By keeping the details tight at every stage, I make sure projects arrive on time, on budget, and exactly as promised.
